It's summer and there is no sun. We make daisy chains and other useless games inside our heads. We bleed, inside our tiney bodies. Dare not a drop seep out. It's a day of bleakness. We curl up in shadows under swinging trees. We cannot swim within our eyes forever. And come night, there are no stars to look at. But theres a blank wall with peeling paint.

Bring back the days of wine. Let us breathe the summer air, crazy with flowers and bees. Humming with saturated ocean scents. Hear the windchimes. To drink honey from dripping skin again. To crawl inside myself to sink and settle like the summer dust.
